20 RVS College girls to receive Manki Munda Scholarship

Jamshedpur, March 13: Twenty girl students pursuing their B Tech course at RVS College of Engineering and Technology (RVSCET) have been selected to receive the Manki Munda Scholarship. This initiative marks the state government’s endeavor to incentivize technical education among female students in Jharkhand.

The Manki Munda Scholarship Scheme, initiated for the first time by the state government, aims to provide financial support to girl students pursuing technical education. Under this scheme, students who have completed their 10th grade from schools in Jharkhand and are enrolled in diploma or engineering courses will receive an incentive of Rs. 15,000 per year for their studies. Additionally, students who have completed their 10th or 12th grade from Jharkhand and are pursuing B. Tech/B.E. courses will be eligible for an incentive of Rs. 30,000 per year.

Expressing gratitude, the scholarship recipients commended the Jharkhand government and Shringa Tandbi for their support, emphasizing the significant impact this financial assistance will have on their education and independence.

During the felicitation ceremony, the college management, represented by Treasurer Shatrughan Singh and Principal Dr. Rajesh Kumar Tiwari, extended their thanks to the Jharkhand government for implementing this scheme, wishing the girl students a bright future.
