Jamshedpur, July 30: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) announced the Class 12 Board Exam 2021 results on Friday (July 30) at 2 PM.
Jamshedpur Public School (JPS) students came out with flying colours in the CBSE class 12 exam. The school registered cent percent result as all the 154 students who appeared for the exam cleared it. According the press communique issued by the school on Friday afternoon, 13 % of the students who appeared for the exam scored 90 % and above marks. Altogether 20 students of Jamshedpur Public School scored above 90 % while 51 % students secured 80 % and above marks.
“The students have done very well despite facing all odds with online as well as offline classes and have scored well despite the pandemic situation. We are happy with the performance of our students,” said Namita Agarwal, Principal, Jamshedpur Public School.
The Central government had cancelled the CBSE Class 12 board exams in view of the COVID-19 situation in the country. CBSE has adopted an alternative assessment scheme to finalise the results. For CBSE Class 12 results, the board adopted 30:30:40 formula based on the marks students earned in their Class 10, 11 and 12 examinations respectively.
