2 undertrials escape from Jamshedpur Court cell

Jamshedpur, Jan 7:  On Friday afternoon, two prisoners escaped by breaking the ventilator of custody in Jamshedpur Court. 
Both were brought to the court from Sakchi jail for production. After lunch, both were going to appear in the court. Meanwhile, taking advantage of the opportunity, both the prisoners escaped from the spot with the help of two other prisoners.

Both the escaped prisoners Aman Lal and Sonu Yadav were sent to jail by the Kadma police on December 27 in the case of bike snatching. The snatched bike was also recovered from the accused. Both are residents of Kadma. 

After the escape of the prisoners from the court, the question of security has also started arising. SSP Dr. M Tamilavanan, CCR DSP Animesh Gupta reached the court. Investigated the matter and took information about the incident from the police personnel on duty and directed for action against the guilty policemen. The SSP has ordered to hand over the investigation report to the CCR DSP.

The SSP said that both were brought to the court at around 1:30 am. Both were to be produced after lunch. A policeman on duty had gone to get medicine due to ill health. The in-charge of cell had the responsibility of deputing another policeman on duty. The in-charge was neither on duty himself nor deputed anyone there. The DSP has been asked to submit the investigation report. Action will be taken against the guilty police personnel.
