Jamshedpur, May 25: Kapali OP police under Chandil police station arrested two people including a woman with 2.4 kg ganja during anti crime checking.
Among the arrested accused, 20-year-old Simran Nigar, resident of Dangodih Road No. 1 Shankar Store, Kapali OP area, and 38-year-old Mohd Parvez., resident of Jugsalai Purana Basti, Jamshedpur.
The police sent both of them to judicial custody on Thursday. Chandil police inspector Pascal Toppo gave this information in a press conference. He told that the police have also seized scooty number JH 05DC 2140 from both of them.
The police informed that Raju Appa, husband of the arrested accused Simran Nigar, is lodged in Ghaghidih jail under the NDPS Act. During interrogation, Simran gave many information to the police about the drug business.
The police inspector told that from where both were bringing the ganja from the scooty and where they were taking it, the police is probing it.
