2 killed, 2 injured in mishap along NH-75 

Jamshedpur, April 23: Two persons were killed and two other injured in a freak mishap on NH-75 E along Ranchi-Chaibasa Main Road  near Bika village, ahead of Borda bridge due to technical snag of car (Wagon-R) on Sunday.

Two persons, both brother and sister died on the spot while two others have been critically injured in the mishap which took place prima facie due to breaking of the  rear axle wheel.

It is said that Devendranath Kalindi, a resident of Jhinkapani’s Station Colony, was going to Karaikela in a WagonR car after the death of his relative in Karaikela. Apart from Devendra Nath Kalindi, his wife Sahbo Kalindi, sister Majhla Kalindi, grandson Budhan Bage were in the car. When the car reached Bika, in the meanwhile the axle of the rear wheel of the car broke and the car went uncontrolled and overturned in the field.

Due to this, Devendranath Kalindi and Majhla Kalindi died on the spot. While the other two people were seriously injured. On receiving information about the incident, labor leaders Sikandar Jamuda, Umashankar Giri, Fulandev Giri, Deepak Gupta informed the police and rushed everyone to Chakradharpur subdivision hospital.

After getting the information, Sadanand Hota, Dinesh Jena also reached the hospital. Here, the police of Chaibasa and Chakradharpur have reached the sub-division hospital and started investigating the matter.
