2 dead, 2 injured after truck turns turtle on Jamshedpur outskirts

Jamshedpur, September 5: Two people died and two others were injured after the truck they were travelling in turned turtle on the outskirts of Jamshedpur on Thursday morning.
According to East Singhbhum police, the incident occurred at Thnthani Ghati, under Patamda police station’s jurisdiction.
Patamda police have identified the deceased as Kalipado (56) and the driver Guddu (55). The injured have been identified as Ravindra Gupta and Mahavir Munda.
According to local police, their initial investigation revealed that the truck, laden with bricks, was headed towards Jamshedpur from West Bengal.
“Eyewitnesses told us that the truck was moving at high speed, and the driver lost control while taking a steep turn,” said a police official from Patamda police station.
The local police, with the help of BJP leader Vimal Baitha, rushed the injured and deceased to MGM hospital for medical attention. Doctors in the emergency department declared Kalipado and Guddu dead on arrival.
