Jamshedpur : A total of 137 police sub-inspectors of the state have been promoted as police inspectors. This has been approved by the Director General of Selection Board. These include five police sub-inspectors from Kolhan division Jamshedpur district, six from Saraikela-Kharsawan and eight from Chaibasa. At Kolhan, 19 sub-inspectors were promoted to inspectors. Simultaneously, it has been transferred to another district.
Among the promoters, Laxmi Kumari, Chandrasekhar Kumar, Rajesh Kumar, Neeraj Kumar, Virendra Kumar Singh of Jamshedpur district. Chandrashekhar, who was Bahragowda police station in East Singhbhum district, has been sent to Chaibasa, Laxmi Kumari Anti-Corruption Squad, Neeraj Kumar to Dhanbad, Rajesh Kumar to Sahebganj and Virender Kumar Singh to Special Branch. Rajesh Kumar has been in charge of Patmada Police Station. Lakshmi Kumari Sakchi Mahila Police Station is in charge.
Rajat Kumar, Subhash Chandra Singh, Udaya Kumar Gupta, Naveen Kumar Pandey, Ratan Kumar Singh, Anil Kumar Mishra and Kuldeep Kumar, Ashutosh Kumar, Jitendra Kumar Azad, Supriam Kujur, Ajay Minj, Pradeep Minj of Saraikela-Kharsawan District Lorencia Careketta, Raghunath Kisku has been promoted to Inspector. Most of them are sub-inspectors of the 2012 bench.Anil Kumar Mishra of Seraikela has been posted as Special Branch, Ratan Kumar Singh to Deoghar, Naveen Pandey to Jharkhand Jaguar, Uday Gupta to Palamu, Subhash Chandra Singh and Rajat Kumar to Jharkhand Jaguar. In a mere eight-year job, the 2012 batch sub-inspectors got promotions in the inspector. 1994 Sub Inspectors of the bench were promoted to Inspector after 15 to 20 years of job.
