1747 Haj pilgrims from Jharkhand

Ranchi, April 28: This time 1747 Haj pilgrims are going on Haj pilgrimage from the state. Most of these Haj pilgrims will be deprived of voting in the Lok Sabha elections this time. Because during voting those people will be on Haj pilgrimage.

Their journey is starting from 9th or 10th May, which will continue till 25th May. Voting will be held in three phases during this period in the state.

The last phase of voting is on June 1, while the last flight of Haj pilgrims will take off by May 25. Due to this, everyone will be deprived of voting because the facility of ballot voting is not available for them.

This time a maximum of 307 Haj pilgrims are going for Haj from Ranchi. There are 169 men and 138 women. At second place are the people of East Singhbhum. There are 136 men and 121 women from here. Dhanbad is in third place. 193 people are going on Haj from here. Which includes 107 men and 86 women.

It is known that a large number of people go to the destination airport to drop them. Due to removal of the embarkation point from Ranchi, people here are going for Haj from places other than Kolkata. Meanwhile, the outgoing chairman of the state Haj Committee and Jamtara MLA Irfan Ansari said that he will inform the Chief Election Commissioner about this matter, so that the Haj pilgrims can get the benefit.
