150 students benefit from Lions Club dental camp

Jamshedpur, August 5: Lions Club of Jamshedpur Centenary organized a dental checkup camp at New Sidhgora Club Madhya Vidhyalaya in Sidhgora.

Students of the school mainly come from very poor, down trodden below poverty line families. It is a government aided school. Dr Mukesh Patwari an eminent dentist and Lion member conducted the dental checkup of 150 school children.

All the children were also counselled on proper dental care and related problems. Nine children were found suffering from different types of dental disorder and the club has decided to provide them further free of cost at Dr Mukesh Patwari Clinic at Balaji Medicals in Mango. Surgery if needed and medicines were also be provided free to them.

Members of the Lions Clubs also distributed free tooth brush, tooth paste and fruits in the school. Twenty trees were also planted and another 150 trees will also be planted soon with provision of Gavin so that the saplings are properly protected.�

Club President Vivek Choudhary who took the lead along with Secretary Lion Sumit Moonka in conducting this programme assured the school management that Lions Club of Jamshedpur Centenary will conduct such health camps regularly and will try to help the school in future also.

Programme was graced by Kanchan Singh District Governor, Rajnish Kumar, First vice District Governor, Sudipto Mukherjee Past District Governor and others.
