150 participate in Swachata Abhiyan at Bhalubasa Community Centre

Jamshedpur, June 11: As part of mass awareness programme, Tata Steel�s Urban Services department organised a �Swachata Abhiyan� in and around Bhalubasa Community Centre under the aegis of �Zimmedar Nagrik, Zimmedar Saher� of Jusco.

This campaign aims to realise the vision of a ‘Clean Jamshedpur’. More than 150 people walked around the bustee and nearby areas holding brooms and banners. The team also distributed pamphlets on �Swachata Abhiyan�.

Subhanand Mukesh, Head Environment Management, Tata Steel graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. R S Pandey, Senior Manager Urban Services, Managers, Area Officers and other staff of Urban Services were part of this �Swachata Abhiyan� to spread the message of keeping steel city clean.

Urban Services in its endeavour to create awareness on various social and environmental issues organises various programmes and activities across the city of Jamshedpur throughout the year.
