Jamshedpur : Acting on an advisory sent by the district police, East Singhbhum district magistrate and deputy commissioner Dr. Amitabh Kaushal has initiated actions against 13 criminals as per provisions in the Crime Control Act (CCA). Similar actions have also been initiated against three other criminals presently lodged in jails.
According to reports, the actions have been initiated under Sections 3 (1) (A) and 3 (1) (B) (1) of the Jharkhand Crime Control Act 2002.
As per rules, it will be mandatory for the 13 criminals booked under the Act register their attendance at the office of the Jamshedpur (City) SP�s office daily for the next three months. However, this will not be applicable for the three criminals lodged in jails, as they are already in confinement.
The CCA has been imposed on the following criminals:
� Akhilesh Singh alias Tapu (Father Baldev Singh, resident of Gwala Bustee, Telco)
� Raju Giri (Father Braj Kishore Giri, resident of Bhaktinagar, Burmamines)
� Bapi Ojha (Father late Anant Ojha, resident of Shankosai, Mango)
� Kamlesh Mandal (Father Madan Mandal, resident of Kailash Nagar, Burmamines)
� Bikram Singh (Father Sarjeet Singh, resident of Bajrang Nagar Pahari, Golmuri)
� Umesh Prasad (Father Ram Gopal, resident of Carriage Colony, Burmamines)
� Santhosh Yadav (Father Choutu Yadav, resident of Kashidih Line # 1, Sakchi)
� Abdul Salam (Father Md. Abdul Rashid, resident of Kalimati Road, Sakchi)
� Arvind Kumar Singh (Father Pashupati Nath Singh, resident of Lakshmi Nagar, Telco)
� Ravi Machua, (Father Kasia Machua, resident of Mahanand Bustee, Telco)
� Satpal Singh (Father late Darshan Singh, resident of Tuiladungri, Golmuri)
� Baldev Singh alias Save (Father Balkar Singh, resident of Church Road, Golmuri)
� Sanjit Sahu (Father Ramdhari Sahu, resident of Garahabasa, Baghbera)
The CCA has also been imposed on the following three criminals lodged in jails:
� Sameer Sardar (Father late Tillu Sardar, resident of Sonari)
� Sonu Das (Father Basudev Das, resident of Hume Pine, Chayanagar, Sitaramdera)
� Bijay Tirkey (Father Ghanshyam Tirkey, resident of Azad Nagar, Mango)
It is worth mentioning here that the Senior SP had recommended the district administration to impose the CCA on 80 criminals.
While action against 38 criminals in the SSP�s list was completed on December 17, 2015, now action has been initiated against 13 criminals as well as the three lodged in jails.
Action will be initiated against the remaining 26 criminals soon.
