1250 saplings planted on JRD Tata’s birth anniversary

Jamshedpur, July 29: Keeping in view the beneficial effects of trees and the sustained need to keep replenishing the same, while populating new areas with trees, the Tata Steel Corporate Services division took up tree plantation drives in different locations to mark 115th birth anniversary of JRD Tata on Monday. �

In the area opposite Beldih Lake, enthusiastic students from JH Tarapore School planted saplings along with their teachers. At Jubilee Park students of Narbheram Hansraj HS School did their bit towards the environment with plantation. Senior Officers from CRM Bara Complex planted saplings. Officials included�PSS Ganesh, Chief, CRM Bara and Ashwini Kumar, Works Manager TSPDL as well as Joncee Mathew and Indranil Biswas from Tata Bluescope Steel. More than�1250 saplings�were planted across the three locations.�
