Jamshedpur: Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha is going to organize a one day Khelo Bharat sports festival at Agrico Transport Maidan on 23rd August.
Various traditional Indian games like kho-kho, tug-of-war and kabaddi have been included in the list of games for the occasion.
The programme is being celebrated on the occasion of the centenary celebrations of Pundit Deen Dayal Upadhyaya, the founder of Jan Sangh.
Giving information about the event, district BJYM president Amarjeet Singh Raja said participants from 24 different mandals (units) of the party will be participating in the event.
The participants have been divided in two groups of 12 members each. Women participants will also be there during the event.
More than 600 people are expected to participate in the games. The chief guest of the event will be state minister Amar Kumar Bauri.
