11 black spots identified in Seraikela-Kharsawan

Seraikela: Seraikela-Kharsawan administration has identified 11 black spots in different areas of the district. Deputy Commissioner Chhavi Ranjan, addressing a meeting of the district level road safety committee on Tuesday, said the road construction department and JRDCL had carried out modification work near these black spots. He sought an updated report on the work done to prevent road accidents near the black spots from the executive engineer of the road construction department.
The DC said a total of 14 road accidents had occurred in July. He said public awareness should be raised to prevent road accidents in the district. He asked the District Civil Surgeon to make sure the 108 ambulance service is ready round the clock.
