JNAC planning to create a cowdung-free city

Jamshedpur: Jamshedpur Notified Area Committee is preparing a plan to free the city from the menace of cowdung. In a bid to deal with the lack of hygiene and prevent epidemic breakout of vector-borne diseases, the JNAC is planning to prevent the mushrooming of cowsheds in the city.

Sources said the cowsheds being run in the densely populated city areas would be removed and the cowdungs collected from the city would be accumulated outside the city limits to prevent water pollution and maintain general cleanliness.
