10th CII Enterprise kicks-off, Chinese Consul General calls for fostering greater ties

Jamshedpur : The 10th Enterprise Jharkhand 2019 was inaugurated at Gopal Maidan on Friday. The inaugural ceremony was attended by Zha Liyou, consul general, The Consulate General of China in Kolkata and Toufique Hasan, deputy high commissioner, Bangladesh Deputy High Commission. In total
93 industry companies are participating in the exhibition including 32
Consumer durable and FMCG companies. Zha Liyou, consul general, The Consulate General of China in Kolkata said that India and China should work towards fostering greater ties
for mutual growth and development.

The Theme for this year is �Build Jharkhand- Rise: Inclusive:
Sustainability and Entrepreneurial�. The exhibition therefore
endeavors to maximize opportunities for entrepreneurs in Jharkhand .
The four day exhibition will include product displays and advertising,
industry related information, focused business presentations and
discussions, networking between industry and suppliers, new
developments and technological innovations, live demonstrations,
interactions between users and manufactures, and buyer seller meets
for business leads. A B Lall ,chairman, Task Force on Enterprise Jharkhand 2019 delivered
the Theme Address for the session , and outlined the significance of
the Industry Exhibition. Chanakya Chaudhary, vice president � corporate services, Tata Steel
Ltd delivered Industry perspective. Mr Chaudhary highlighted the role
of industry and government in the growth and development of the
country. He expressed his and also extended his gratitude for the proactive role of the state government in addressing industry issues and taking inputs from the Industry for formulating the various policies related to Ease of Doing Business and cost of doing business. Toufique Hasan, deputy high commissioner, Bangladesh Deputy High Commission mentioned about the healthy relationship between India and Bangladesh. He informed about the 6th Video Conferencing between Prime Minister of India and Bangladesh for the development projects which manifests wealth of the existing bilateral relations. Mr Hasan also informed about the increase of bilateral trade between India and Bangladesh which has reached 9 billion US dollar. He said that mutual prosperity is the key focus to increase Exports and imports between two countries and Jharkhand holds a prominent prospect.
