108 diyas light up Shivratri celebration

Jamshedpur, Feb. 13: Sai Pariwar Vishwa Seva Sansthan organised Maha Shivratri puja and Rudrabhishek on the occasion of Maha Shivratri at Sri Sainath Devasthanam Temple premises on Tuesday. The religious event began with Acharya Nandlal Mishra and Acharya Sujit Pathak performed the rituals along with Anoop Ranjan, president of Sansthan. The main attraction of the day was the lighting up of 108 diyas. An ice Sahiva Lingam was also erected along with the attractive rangoli drawn by the women devotees.
To make the religious programme successful, Rajeev Kumar, Umesh Prasad Sinha, Rashmi Narayan, Raj Kishore Sahu, Uday Bhaskar, Vijay Kumar Singh, Anju Shah, Kumud Singh, priti Srivastav, Shiv Prasad Shah, Shailesh Kumar Singh, Rakesh Pandey, Rajesh Srivastav, Chandra Shekhar Singh, Durga Ghosh, Sudarshan Mahato, Bhim Karmakar, Ashok Kumar Singh, Rajesh Kumar Gupta, Reena Singh, Rinku Rai Choudhary, Mamta Singh, Rani Sahu, Hemant Sahu and others played a vital role.
