Jamshedpur: On the occasion of 71st Saastha Preethi Celebrations which is going on at Sri Dharma Saastha Temple, today also the pujas commenced with Havan for Lord Ganesh. After this, 1008 Kalash were installed, 336 each for Lord Ganapati, Lord Karthik and Lord Dharma Saastha. After ritualistic invitation of the Gods by the Ved pandits by chanting requisite hymns, pujas were performed.
Later on Kalash Abhishek was started by P N Sankaran, Working President of the Temple. Ved pandits and members of the Temple helped in Abhishek of the three God’s, firstly for Lord Ganapati, Lord Karthik and finally to Lord Dharma Saastha. After performing Abhishek, shringar was done to all the three deities by the temple priests. Later on Maha deeparadhana was performed and Prasad was distributed to thousands of devotees who thronged the temple today.
In the evening, renowned bhajan singer from Kerala, Manjapra Mohan gave a splendid bhajan program to the packed audience who enjoyed the performance.
