
Jamshedpur, June 7: An Inter Centre Drawing Competition was organized on 07th June 2019 at Dhatkidih Community Centre by Urban Services, CSR, to mark World Environment Day. The competition was for four different age groups i.e. Group A (Std. I-III), Group B (Std. IV to VI), Group C (Std. VII to IX) and Group D (Std. X to XII). About 100 children from catchment basti areas of the twelve community centres participated to give shapes and colours to their creativity. The competition was based on the theme �Clean and Green Environment�.

Madhulika Sharma, Chief Corporate Sustainability, graced the occasion as the chief guest. Observing the enthusiasm of the young participants who came to exhibit their creative abilities, she thanked all the participants for and making the programme a success. She was also visibly impressed after seeing the work done by budding painters of the steel city. Appreciating the organisers, she suggested such initiatives to be continued on a regular basis. She gave prizes to the winners.
Jiren Xavier Topno, Head, Urban Services, Gurbari Hembram, Managers, Urban Services, Nav Kant Jha, Union Committee Member, Tata Workers union and Area Officer, Dhatkidih Community Centre, Birdhan Marandi, Chandra Sekhar Murmu, Dinesh Dubey, Mohammad Farid Khan, Moti Melgandi, all staff of Dhatkidih Community Centres and staff of Urban Services were also present during the function.
