100 Ashoka saplings planted at JUSCO School South Park

Jamshedpur, July 6: JUSCO School South Park, in collaboration with the Vallabh Youth Organisation, organised a plantation drive to celebrate Van Mahotsav, the annual festival promoting environmental conservation and tree plantation.

Students, teachers, and representatives of the Vallabh Youth Organisation, led by Women’s Wing President Geeta Vagadia, participated in the programme. As part of the initiative, Class XII students planted 100 Ashoka saplings on the school campus to promote a greener environment.

Addressing the gathering, Principal Mili Sinha highlighted the importance of tree plantation in tackling climate change, conserving biodiversity, and ensuring a sustainable future. Representatives of the Vallabh Youth Organisation encouraged students to protect the environment and become responsible citizens. The programme concluded with a pledge by participants to care for the newly planted saplings.
