Jamshedpur, September 9: A 10-year-old girl, Renu Sardar of Amlatola village in Hesalamda Panchayat, Potka, died after being bitten by a snake early Monday morning. The incident occurred while she was sleeping on the floor in her home. A spotted snake bit her around 3 a.m. Her screams woke up the family. She was rushed to MGM Hospital but succumbed during treatment. Renu was a fifth-grade student at the local government school.
