Jamshedpur�: Ten persons were injured, including women in three separate mishaps� that took�place at Telco, Sakchi and Dimna localities�of the �city this morning.
At Telco, a mini-bus overturned� while negotiating a road close to the�’Tar Company�Talab’ close to a Gurdwara under Telco police station area at about�10.30 am.��
In another incident an auto-rickshaw was overturned near Hati-Ghora Temple on Subernarekha Link Road in Sakchi .� The mishap at Dimna took place at�11.30 am.
There were in all nine passengers, including the driver and cleaner of both the vehicles were injured.� Fortunately, none of the passengers sustained serious injuries, but they all have been rushed to MGM Medical College and Hospital.� But a youth whose bike was hit by a car at Dimna is seriously injured.
Those injured include drivers of both mini-bus as well as auto-rickshaw.� They were rushed to medical college and hospital where the victims except the driver of the mini-bus, Raghu Yadav (45), were released after first-aid.
According to police, the mini-bus that overturned at Tar Company lake had carried passengers near a Tar Company Gurdwara.
Mohammed Amis, officer-in-charge of Telco police station�said that there were in all four persons, including driver and cleaner who were injured.
One of the eyewitness, said that the driver of the mini-bus was driving very speed.
In another mishap, five auto-rickshaw passengers were injured as the vehicle they were riding from Mango overturned near Hathi-Ghora temple on Subernarekha Link Road.� The mishap took place as the vehicle driver lost balance while overtaking a turn on the Subernarekha Link Road.
As the auto-rickshaw overturned, three women who were seated in the middle seat of the vehicles were injured.� The driver and another passenger who had sat along the driver were injured, but all these persons except the driver, escaped with minor injuries.
Officer-in-charge, Sakchi police station, Anjani Kumar Tripathy said that the injured were rescued by the passers-by and rushed them to the medical college hospital from where they were released after first-aid.
In yet another mishap, a 25-year-old youth, Sukra Hembram, was seriously injured as the bike he was riding was hit by a speeding car at Dimna on Tata-Patamda Road under MGM police station area at about�11.30 am.� A resident of Turiabera, Hembram was still lying unconscious at the medical college hospital where the police brought him from the scene of mishap.
