Jamshedpur crime: 3 arrested with 1320 gm ganja

Jamshedpur, August 25: Jamshedpur Police had sent three people to jail with brown sugar on Wednesday itself. 

Police have arrested three people with 1320 grams of ganja. The arrested accused include Shivam Deep, Tushar Sharma, resident of Kadma Bhatia Basti and Shriram Vishwakarma, resident of Sonari Domuhani. 

City SP Vijay Shankar said that the police had received information that some youths were going to supply ganja. Based on the information, the police raided the Jugsalai Railway under construction bridge and caught hold of two youths on a bike. During the search, a total of one kg of ganja was recovered from both of them. During interrogation, both of them revealed their names as Shivam Deep and Tushar Sharma and told that they were going to supply ganja to Shriram in Sonari. Subsequently, the police also raided Shriram’s house from where 320 grams of ganja was recovered.
