Coal laden truck catches fire near Nayagram in Chakulia

Jamshedpur, April 12: A coal laden truck coming from Paradip caught fire on Wednesday morning near Nayagram under Shyamsunderpur police station in Chakulia Block of East Singhbhum district. The incident occurred on NH 18. Immediately on information, fire brigade personnel from the Baharagora Fire Station arrived at the spot and brought the fire under control. The truck driver, Narsingh Behera who was reported to be safe stated that his truck had been loaded with coal at Paradip and was on way to its destination when the fire broke out. Behera could not say how the fire broke out.
