Gamharia, March 2: A young woman named Satwahini Basti was allegedly assaulted by four youths in the Adityapur railway station area.
They tried to strangulate the woman with her dupatta. According to information received, the youths work under Adityapur-based contractors Naseem and Shakeel Marble and Tiles, while the victim also works there as a helper.
The woman was assaulted severely for arriving for work late.
The woman screamed for help following which local villagers gathered at the site and rescued her. They also nabbed the culprits.
