Lok Samarpan organizes free health camp on Youth Day

Jamshedpur: City-based social organization Lok Samarpan organized a free health check-up camp on the occasion of Yua Jagriti Samagam 2019 at Pritam Maidan in Patelnagar, Bhuiyandih, to celebrate National Youth Day to mark the birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda.

The camp was inaugurated by the outfit patron Lalit Das. He said it was a significant day for Jharkhand as Chief Minister Raghubar Das had inaugurated a 33 feet high statue of Swami Vivekananda in Ranchi. He said Jharkhand was a state full of potential and possibilities and hence there was a need to raise awareness among them and make them confident and job ready. He said youths should respect elders and serve the society.

Das said Lok Samarpan was serving the society by keeping all sections in mind. He said the outfit members were busy working for the poor and needy round the clock.
East Singhbhum Deputy Commissioner Amit Kumar and SSP Anoop Birtharay were also present at the inaugural function. The DC praised the outfit members for their good work and asked them to keep working for the under-privileged members of society.

The SSP said Lok Samarpan was zealously serving humanity and inspiring others to do the same.

At the camp, as many as 898 people availed free health check-up facility. Free medicines were given to all patients.
