Youth to usher new zest in PSZMS development activities: Ashok Modi

Jamshedpur, Dec 21: “I have been receiving tremendous support and blessings from the community members all through my period of social activities in which I have been participating through four years in Purvi Singhbhum Zila Marwari Sammelan. I have been able to look closely in the social and development activities of our organization along with Umesh Shah. I will continue my humble endeavor to give our community new dimensions and newer heights and for this purpose I will ensure the active participation of the youth of our community to inject zest in all PSZMS development projects,” said PSZMS presidential candidate on the penultimate day of the organization’s election while briefing the media at the Sakchi Satyanarayan Marwari Mata Mandir.

Ashok Modi said that he would stick to his pledge to take the community on a higher pedestal through social development activities. “I am not a politician to make manifestos and forget them after elections. I am a simple and committed social worker and with the community members’ love, blessings and cooperation that I have been receiving, I will be available at all hours wherever and whenever needed for community work.”

He said that the Marwari community was engaged in effective work on the health and social fronts and that his focus would be on further developing and expanding these horizons. Modi said that his attention would also be on setting up of a community’s English medium school.

Ashok Modi exuded full confidence of winning the PSZMS elections scheduled for Tuesday, December 22. Replying to a question, he said, “The other two candidates for the president’s post Shiv Prakash Sharma and Sanwarmal Agrawal are trying for the second and third spots in the race. After winning the election, I will include both of them in our community’s development projects planned by PSZMS. I am not making any election pledges. It is my desire and my drive to put in my humble and sincere services to work for the betterment of our community.”
