Chandil: A youth was injured severely in a road mishap after being hit by a truck on the National Highway 33 near Chawlibasa under Chowka police station on Wednesday.
He was taken to a hospital in Jamshedpur.
Sources said the victim was on his way to a nearby pump when the incident occurred. A speeding truck knocked him down. Police have seized the truck and registered a case against its driver.
