Jamshedpur: Youth Congress members staged a sit-in before the Jamshedpur Collectorate on Monday to protest against the land acquisition law passed recently by the state government.
Leading the agitation, state Youth Congress secretary Rakesh Sahu said the said law was not in the larger interest of the Adivasis and Moolvasis of the state. He said the state government had revealed its ulterior motives by passing the controversial land acquisition bill.
He demanded that the said law should be immediately scrapped. He said the people of the state would teach a lesson to the Raghubar Das government in the 2019 elections.
