Jamshedpur: Members of Jugsalai Assembly Youth Congress Committee staged a demonstration before the Karandih electricity department office on Tuesday to protest poor electricity supply and demand replacement of electric poles.
The outfit members said there were many old wooden poles installed in Khakhripara panchayat of Govindpur that posed serious threat to lives of the local people.
The demonstrators also alleged that many overhead power cables were in shambles and that they should be replaced immediately to ward off the possibility of a major mishap.
