Jamshedpur: State Youth Congress secretary Rakesh Sahu paid homage to the former Prime Minister of India late Indira Gandhi on her centenary birth anniversary on Sunday. The day was observed as �Gaurav Diwas� at a function organized at Thakur Bari Road, Sakchi. Speaking on the occasion, Sahu said Indira Gandhi had made the country stronger. He said the country touched newer heights under the leadership of Indira Gandhi. He said there was an urgent need for the youth of the country to follow the footsteps of the former PM.
Many party members were present during the event. They included Akhilesh Singh Yadav, Jyotish Mishra, Amar Kumar Mishra, Bumba Majumdar and Harpal Singh Vicky.
