Jamshedpur, Feb 21: A youth identified as Anup Mukhi, a resident of Chayanagar under Sitaramdera thana hanged from the ceiling and committed suicide possibly due to economicc hardship on Sunday afternoon.
According to relatives, the youth was undergoing economic hardship while the mother and wife expressed ignorance about the reason for the youth ending his life.
Anup was staying with his wife alone and during the time of incident he was alone in the house as his wife had gone for work and when she returned in the afternoon and found the room locked and peeped from the window to find her husband hanging from ceiling.
The youth used to work as a labourer in Baliguma Green City. The body has been sent for post mortem to MGM Medical College and Hospital before handing over to relatives for last rites.
