Jamshedpur: Members of Narendra Modi Youth Brigade led by district convenor Ram Prasad Jaisawal staged a demonstration before the office of the deputy commissioner of East Singhbhum on Monday to demand action against adulteration and the culprits dealing in adulterated food.
They alleged that the district administration did not follow up the cases of adulteration of food, especially sweets, cottage cheese (panir) and chhena used to prepare rasagullas.
They handed over a memorandum to the DC demanding measures against the culprits by setting up a special task force to crack down on them.
Among those present during the agitation included Amit Sharma, Kumaresh Upadhyaya, Sumit Sharma, Babban Kumar, Munna Tiwary, Vikas Kumar Sharma, Dheeraj Kumar, Anmol Verma and Amit Singh.
