Jamshedpur, Aug 23: The Annual Hindi Elocution Competition, “Abhivyakti Ki Udaan,” was held at D.B.M.S. Kadma High School on Saturday, showcasing the eloquence and confidence of students from Nursery to Class XII. The event provided a vibrant platform for students to display their oratory skills through choral recitation, poetry, storytelling, declamation, and tech talks.
The competition began with choral recitation rounds for younger students. Winners included Nursery D, UKG B, Std 2C, and Std 4C. In the recitation category for Classes 5 and 6, Kritika Chandra (5C) secured first place, followed by Radhey Singh (6A) and Atharv Pandey (5A). Zainab Khan (TB) stood out in storytelling for juniors, while Harshit Kishore Pandey (8D) and Soumi Ray (7D) were also recognized.
In the declamation round for Classes 9 and 10, Nidhi Kumari (10D) impressed the judges, with Almash Qaiser (9D) also earning a prize. For the senior category, Tech Talk winners included Ozair Kazmi (11D) in first place, followed by Srija Mukherjee (11C) and Tanvisha Nandan (11B).
The judges for the competition were Dr. Punam Kumari of Jamshedpur Public School, Janardan Pandey of Shiksha Niketan, Telco, and Sunita Kumar of J.H. Tarapore School.
The programme was attended by members of the School Managing Committee, including Bhuvna Krishnan (Treasurer), Anita Ramkrishna (Secretary), Usha Malini (Joint Secretary), and P.S. Aruna (Joint Treasurer), along with Principal Gurpreet Bhambra, Vice Principals, teachers, parents, and students.
