XLRI launches global dual-degree specializations with top universities in the US and France

Jamshedpur: XLRI, Xavier School of Management, one of most prestigious business schools, has announced the launch of nine international specialization tracks in its flagship PGDM (Business Management) program, developed in collaboration with leading universities in the United States and France. Under this new dual-degree initiative, students will earn both an XLRI PGDM (BM) degree and an MS/MBA from a partner university abroad.

Announcing the program, XLRI Director Father S. George SJ said the initiative opens unprecedented opportunities for Indian students to build global careers with world-class specialization, particularly in new-age sectors such as healthcare, sports management, analytics, and international business. With over 400 hours of domain-specific content, structured industry interactions, and access to career fairs on both campuses, the program is designed to offer global exposure at significantly lower cost through scholarships from partner universities.

For the 2026–28 batch, the international tracks include International Business, Sports Management, Business Analytics (STEM), and Project Management (STEM) with George Washington Business School; Marketing (STEM-designated) with Syracuse University’s Whitman School of Management; Healthcare Analytics and Intelligence (STEM) with Rutgers Business School; and Healthcare Management with IAE Paris – Sorbonne Business School. STEM-designated tracks in the United States will also provide eligibility for a three-year OPT work permit, while the French track offers a 12-month renewable work/residence permit under the Indo-French agreement.

The program structure will include a first year of core curriculum at XLRI Jamshedpur, with the second year divided between introductory courses on campus and specialization at the partner university from the fall semester. Admissions will follow the standard process through the Xavier Aptitude Test (XAT) 2026, with applicants required to select the international track option and hold a four-year full-time degree after 10+2.

With these international collaborations, XLRI strengthens its position as a leading global-facing management institution, preparing students to become future-ready leaders equipped for a rapidly evolving global business environment.
