Jamshedpur, July 15: Xavier Labour Relations Institute(XLRI), Jamshedpur has been ranked among top 10 management institutes in the country, as per the Ministry of Education’s National Institutional Ranking Framework.
According to the 2022 rankings released by Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan on Friday, XLRI is overall eighth best institution of management studies in India.
The list is topped by Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad followed by Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore and Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta.
Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi took the fourth spot while Indian Institute of Management, Kozhikode is ranked fifth.
Indian Institute of Management, Lucknow and Indian Institute of Management, Indore are ranked sixth and seventh respectively.
NIIE, Mumbai is at ninth spot while Indian Institute of Technology, Madras is at the 10th position.
Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Madras has been ranked as the top educational institution in the country for the fourth consecutive year.
Bengaluru-based Indian Institute of Science (IISc) has secured the second spot on the ranking, followed by IIT Bombay and IIT Delhi.
Among the universities, IISc Bengaluru is followed by JNU at second spot and Jamia Millia Islamia at the third position.
IIT Madras is the best engineering college followed by IIT Delhi and IIT Bombay.
Among the pharmacy institutions, Jamia Hamdard has bagged the top rank. The National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research, Hyderabad is the second best in the category while Panjab University, Chandigarh has been ranked third.
Five out of ten best colleges in the category are from Delhi with Miranda House topping the chart. Hindu College has bagged the second rank while Presidency College in Chennai is at the third spot.
AIIMS Delhi is the best medical college in the category followed by PGIMER, Chandigarh and CMC, Vellore.
