Jamshedpur, Dec 19: XLRI XOL PGDM hosted first conclave on Technology and Consulting – TechCon 1.0 – Innovate, Grow & Transform on Digital Platform learning from Eminent Business Leaders and Industry Experts, on December 17.
It started with an inaugural address by Dr Sanjay Patro, Dean Academics, XLRI Jamshedpur followed by Chief Speaker session by Sandeep Bathla, Executive Director, Plasser India on Business Excellence through Innovation by providing insights on Strategy for every organization to grow – “Forgetting past, working on the present and building for future.”
The first-panel discussion on the Impact of Technology on Consulting was by Vibhu Goenka-Vice President, EXL Analytics, Arijit Sarkar, Vice President, EY, Nandhakumar Muthukrishnan-Associate Partner & India Lead- Energy, Utilities & Service Business Consulting, Infosys and Sudheshna Choudhury, Partner Ecosystems & Alliances, TCS and moderated by Rahul Singh, student of XLRI XOL PGDBM.
They discussed the evolution of consulting and the impact of Technological advancements resulting in value to Businesses.
The second Panel discussion on Transforming Business through Digitalization and Automation was by Arun Misra, CEO, of Hindustan Zinc Limited, Ravishankar Rao, Director, Strategy & Operations, Sudeepta Veerpaneni, Partner, Deloitte and Kavitha Siddala, Head Design & Engineering and moderated by Dr Abhishek Chakraborty, Faculty Member of XLRI Jamshedpur.
They discussed Digitalization and Automation in Businesses by pushing through barriers and demonstrating leadership behavior at every level in the organization to realize and transform the Company and Eco-system as a whole.
The final session had Sudipta Ghosh-Partner & Analytics Leader, PwC as the Chief speaker and Rudrani Das, Associate Director, PwC to discuss on Cost of Technology Risk Aversion where they provided critical insights on organizations to understand the risks and fundamentals around the design and deployment of Technology.
The grand event was concluded with a vote of thanks by Archana Purohit and Amrutha, student XLRI XOL hosting and summarizing the whole session and bringing it to a delightful close.
