Jamshedpur, Nov 21: Ensemble Valhalla, XLRI’s annual cultural, sports, and management festival, a -day extravaganza launched its theme for the festival at the event ‘IGNITO’, which marks the beginning of the EV festivities. The theme for Ensemble Valhalla 2022 will be ‘The Realm of Dreams’!
The event was the biggest offline event ever since the college reopened post Covid-19 and witnessed enthusiastic participation from all the students. The Dugout café was the ‘Title-Sponsor’ of IGNITO, and the event was ‘Powered By’ Mom’s Food Factory. IGNITO’21 was commenced with an activation event where different floors from each hostel competed against one another to emerge as ‘The Conquerors’. Following which there were twenty-eight different events which were to be played in teams and these received overwhelming response from students who were competing to win prizes worth rupees sixty thousand.
The three podium winners were awarded with cash prizes and goodies sponsored by famous and home-grown brands across Jamshedpur like The Florist, Khwaab, Blue Tribe & Filter Beans. The event had various other facets like food stalls setup by famous cafes of Jamshedpur – café MOJO, The Dugout, Mom’s Food Factory, Ice Cream CONEction and a picturesque décor including beaming lights, a photo wall and booth which added to the charm of the perfectly set-up evening.
The major crowd puller after the fun-filled events & games was the Bollywood DJ night, hosted by one the best DJs in town, which was attended by all students on campus. The Old Hostel area was lit up with flickering lights, jolting speakers and dancing feet when the Theme-Reveal happened. This is how the night culminated with the launch of the much-awaited theme for Ensemble Valhalla 2022-
Ensemble-Valhalla is the annual cultural, sports, and management fest of XLRI. XLRI’s flagship fest, Ensemble-Valhalla, has witnessed participation from various B-schools across the country and performances by renowned artists. Ensemble Valhalla 2021 was a three-day extravaganza with panel discussions featuring the likes of Imtiaz Ali, Mithila Palkar, Aparshakti Khurana, Janice Sequeira and many more. The fest also witnessed a live virtual performance by Bhuwin Khursija and a stellar proshow lineup that featured Bass Jackers, Ankit Tiwari, Rahul Subramanian, Sejal Bhat and KK. The multifaceted fest is always a grand celebration of spirit and character encompassing the values and integrity of India’s oldest business management school.
