Jamshedpur : XLRI- Xavier School of Management is all set to host “Doctoral Colloquium 2014” – Academic meeting of Doctoral students from B-schools across India on 18th and 19th of October at XLRI Campus, Jamshedpur.
The academic meet shall be witnessing research scholars from across India present papers in their area of research and participate in workshops conducted by eminent faculty members from IIMs and XLRI.
The two-day long academic meet, organized by the FPM & Research department of XLRI, will be an opportunity for research scholars pursuing PhD and Fellow Programme in Management across India to share and learn about the latest developments in the field of management. The workshops will give a hands-on training to the research scholars in using the latest tools and techniques in research work.
“XLRI Doctoral Colloquium promises to be a yearly meeting ground for doctoral scholars across India to engage, learn and connect among themselves” Dr. Sanjay Patro, Associate Dean, FPM & Research, XLRI commented on the event.
Dr. Patro also emphasized on the need of Doctoral Colloquiums in engaging the research community of India to remain updated with the latest developments in the discipline of management and bring the quality of research in India at par with that of world’s top management institutes.
