XLRI holds 14th graduation ceremony for Executive Diploma Course students

Jamshedpur, April 10: Xavier School of Management (XLRI) organised its 14th graduation ceremony for students of the Executive Diploma Programs on Sunday.

The event was held at the Tata Auditorium in XLRI campus.

Dr. N S Rajan, group chief human resources officer and member of the group executive council, Tata Sons, Fr. E Abraham S.J., director, XLRI, Dr. Pranabesh Ray, dean � academics, XLRI, Dr .Ashis K. Pani associate dean, VIL Programmes, XLRI, Prof. Prabal K. Sen, chairperson, Entrepreneurship Development Centre (EDC) � XLRI, and other dignitaries attended the graduation ceremony.

Altogether 612 students from various Executive Diploma Programs of XLRI received their graduating certificates and medals.

At the event, gold medals sponsored by Unified Collaboration Services (UCS), XLRI�s VIL Programme technical partner, were presented to 1st rank holders of the VIL Programme. Prashant Goel (1st rank – PGCBM � 25), Sukalpa Ghosh (1st rank – PGCBM � 26), Yogesh Kalra (1st rank – PGCHRM � 17) and Arup Kumar Dutta (PGCHRM � 18) were awarded gold medals.

Congratulating the outgoing students, Dr. Ashis K. Pani, XLRI VIL Programmes said, �Graduation is not the end it�s the beginning to face the bigger challenges in life. Go confidently in the direction of your dreams and live the life you have imagined.�

XLRI VIL has recently introduced various online Management Development Programs (e-MDPs) through our technical partners Education Lanes (of Tech Mahindra) and Talent edge. It offers various sector specific and contemporary courses in management disciplines delivered via Direct to Desktop (D2D) mode.

These courses are designed and delivered by XLRI faculty and this D2D technology simulates a real-time and interactive virtual learning environment, which is acting as a boon to this corporate world. More than, nine e-MDPs are launched in this year covering approx. 500 students till date.

Fr. E Abraham S.J. commented, �XLRI with its singular vision of Magis, i.e., pursuit of excellence, focuses on three areas- academic excellence, personal values and social concern.

In the era, where time is a major constraint and up gradation being the need for working professionals, XLRI has been providing various programmes for the working executives.

With these multiple programmes we aim to serve diverse sections of professionals across many industry sectors.�
