Jamshedpur: XITE Gamharia successfully conducted a session on “Entrepreneurship to Drive Employment and National Development”, under the guidelines of AICTE. The event, led by Prof. Reetika Singh and Prof. Anjali Jha, attracted over 50 students from various departments including English, Economics, Commerce, and Business Administration (Batch 2024-27).
Ashish Singh, Founder and Owner of LiVE PUKKA Events and Branding & Communication Head at XITE Gamharia, delivered a dynamic session covering key topics such as entrepreneurship fundamentals, the difference between entrepreneurs and startups, and the importance of innovation, employment, and scalability in business. Singh also discussed the role of MSMEs in national development, the challenges and opportunities in entrepreneurship, risk management, institutional support, incubators, and funding agencies.
A highlight of the session was an interactive ideation and pitching game, which allowed students to apply their knowledge and creatively pitch their business ideas. The session provided both theoretical insights and practical tools, equipping students with the skills needed to foster an entrepreneurial spirit.
