Jadugora: Xavier Public School, Dorkasai, celebrated its 19th annual day at a function organized in Hathivinda panchayat of Jadugora on Sunday. The chief guest of the function was Zila Parishad vice president Rajkumar Singh.
In his address, Singh said that the students should work hard in order to build their life and career on a strong foundation. He said the school should do its best to impart best quality education to the pupils for their better future.
He said the school should set a target of occupying the first place among all schools of the district.
Also addressing the gathering, the school secretary Sunil Singh said the school was gradually making progress through its sincere efforts. He said a B.Ed or polytechnic school would be set up in Hathivinda panchayat by the year 2020.
He said the school would get affiliation for expansion of its classes up to standard XII this year itself. By next year, students will be able to apply for admission in Intermediate classes, he said.
The function was conducted by Ramesh Agnihotri. A welcome speech was given by the school principal Dharmendra Kumar.
