Xavier English School celebrates Eid

Jamshedpur, June 24: Xavier English School located in Kudarsai village of Saraikela- Kharsawan district celebrated the festival of Eid in the school premises on Saturday.

On the occasion students of the school presented cultural programmes by giving message of communal harmony. During the celebration Raman Jha, secretary of school, Pradeep Singh, president of the school along with Alok Sen, president of Navchetan Society were present.

A class 7 student of the school Madhav Majhi informed about the festival of Eid and its importance while a dance performance was staged by students Apurva Singh, Vaishnavi Sahu, Ankit Sahu. Students Urmila gagrai and Khusbu Soch presented poetry reading.

Later, addressing the students, principal of the school Uma Singh, said, Love and harmony is the mantra to respect all religions.

Present on the occasion were Sapna Sharma, Sarita Pramanik, Chandana Soren, Ankita Ghosh, Priti Shamal, Priti Sharma, Sweta Mandal, Rashmi Pani, Reena Sahu and all teachers.
