Jamshedpur, Oct 15: World Anaesthesia Da was celebrated at Brahmananda Narayana Multispecialty Hospital, Tamolia, on Saturday.
On this occasion, Dr Umesh Prasad, Head of Departmnet, Anaesthesia, said the role of anaesthesists was vital in any operation as they ensure that the patients feel minimum pain.
Dr Sunil Kedia of Critical Care Medicine department said anaesthesia department is an established unit which takes care of making the patient unconscious and their perioperative care. Anaesthesists have to keep an eye on all parameters of the patient during surgery, he said.
Facility Director Vineet Raj said said the patients should consult anaesthesists before surgery.
