Workshop on POCSO Act organized at Jamshedpur Civil Court

Jamshedpur, Oct 19: A one day orientation workshop was organized at Lok Adalat Hall of Jamshedpur Civil Court in collaboration with Jharkhand Legal Services Authority (JHALSA) and Unicef. The chief guest of the occasion was Nishant Kumar, Chief Judicial Magistrate (CJM) of Jamshedpur Civil Court, while the special guest was Nitish Nilesh Sanga, Secretary. Unicef state coordinator Preeti Srivastav and district social welfare officer Satya Thakur were also present on this occasion. They jointly lit the ceremonial lamp to inaugurate the camp. The participants were informed about POCSO Act and various other laws. They were also informed about government schemes being run for the welfare of victims of different crimes and accidents.
