Seraikela, July 12: A workshop on dairy entrepreneurship development scheme was organized at ATMA Bhavan in Seraikela under the aegis of NABARD.
District development manager of NABARD Sidharth Shankar was present as the main speaker on this occasion. Addressing the gathering, he said employment opportunities may be created for the workers of rural and unorganized sector under the said scheme. Grants are provided to beneficiaries of the scheme under nine heads for different purposes.
Also present on the occasion, district agriculture officer Vijay Kujur said proper implementation of the scheme would help double the income of farmers. He appealed to the branch managers of banks of all nine blocks in the district to achieve the target given to them under the scheme by 31st January 2020.
