Jamshedpur: The agglomeration workshop, jointly organised by Tata Steel and The Indian Institute of Metals, Jamshedpur chapter to develop a better understanding in the area of agglomeration of ore fines by Indian steel industries, concluded on Thursday.
Thirty technical papers were presented by specialists and practitioners making the workshop a big success. The papers presented on the day were purely technical in nature and thought provoking.
The workshop provided a perfect platform for experts from India and abroad to deliberate on the latest technologies and modern operational practices.
Such collaboration between industry, academia, R&D institution and technology suppliers will go a long way in enabling Indian Steel producers to make their production process more efficient and cost effective.
