Work on Jamshedpur flyover to commence soon: Minister Banna Gupta

Banna Gupta lays foundation stone for 129 schemes

Jamshedpur, Feb 25: On Sunday, Jamshedpur West MLA and State Health Minister Banna Gupta formally laid the foundation stone of a total of 129 schemes to cost Rs 6.21 crore to be expended from the MLA fund. The estimated amount of the cost of these projects is Rs 6, 21, 63, 120. It may be mentioned that the foundation stone of 82 schemes (Rs 3 crore 45 lakh 28 thousand 670) under Mango Municipal Corporation and 47 schemes (Rs 2 crore 76 lakh 34 thousand 450) under JNAC were laid. In his address after laying the foundation stone, Health Minister Banna Gupta said that the first priority was to make the area problem-free.  The Minister stated that apart from the schemes launched on Sunday, the work of constructing a flyover to make Mango jam-free would commence soon. “In view of the additional load of traffic on the roads of Jamshedpur West, special attention is being given to road widening work, water harvesting system, e-waste collection center and cleanliness of the area,” Banna Gupta stated. Among those present on the occasion included MLA representatives Prabhat Thakur, Manoj Jha, Baban Shukla, Bijender Tiwari, Kailash Rajak and many others.

Banna distributes 1,235 pension acceptance certificates

Jamshedpur, Feb 25: Health Minister Banna Gupta distributed 1,235 pe3nsion acceptance certificates under the Sarvajan Pension Scheme of the Jharkhand Government. The beneficiaries were applicants for old age, widow and physically challenged pensions and residents of Kadma, Sonari, Bistupur, Sakchi and Mango. These beneficiaries would start getting their pensions soon. Along with the pension certificates, Health Minister Banna Gupta gave away buckets asking the beneficiaries to put household garbage in these buckets and then to hand over the wastes to doorstep garbage collectors or to throw them in the nearest garbage vats. He asked them not to litter garbage outside their homes to ensure cleanliness and healthy environment.

The Minister also instructed party workers to go door to door and organize camps in their jurisdictions for getting the pension applications filled and filed. Those present on the occasion included Sanjay Tiwari, Manoj Jha, Babua Jha, Baban Shukla, Sanjeev Jha, Rakesh Jaiswal, Irshad Haider and many others.
