The Bhojpuri singer paid a visit to the Manohar chaat outlet of Madhuri Dixit Nenes fan Pappu Sardar at Sakchi and snacked on a plate of chaat at the well-known city shop. The talented singer said she had made a video album on the centenary celebrations of Champaran Satyagraha upcoming on 14th April this year. This album is based on the miseries of farmers prior to Satyagrah movement and the philosophy of Mahatma Gandhi. Both the Central and Bihar governments are organizing a programme to celebrate the occasion. My album is a humble tribute to Mahatma Gandhi, she said.

Patwari said she was focusing on singing more and more folk songs in Bollywood. I have sung folk songs in 30 languages including Bhojpuri and Assamese.

For me music is a medium of education and communication. I am trying my best to do something for the development of local languages with the inspiration of Bhikhari Thakur and Bhupen Hajarika, she said.
