Women�s wing demands justice

Jamshedpur: All India Mahila Sanskritik Sangathan East Singhbhum district committee urged police to solve the case of death of one Nikhat Parveen.

Parveen, a college student residing at Dhalbhumgarh went missing on September 17, 2014. Her dead body was found in a well on September 20. The Mahila Sangathan had taken up the issue and organized a mass demonstration at Narsinghgarh PS against deteriorating law and order scenario at Dhalbhumgarh.

The women�s organization expressed displeasure over the fact that though a case was registered in the case the police did not conduct an investigation and failed to nab the accused in the case. The organization submitted a memorandum at the SSP office here today.

In the memorandum Mahila Sanskritik Sangathan stated that Rs 50,000 was found missing after Parveen disappeared from her house.

Her family members also got a mobile number from her personal belongings. The said mobile phone was being used by a neighborhood youth named Babu Mallick, the memorandum said.

The organization lamented over the fact the police could not clarify whether the girl was murdered or murdered after rape even after five months have passed since the incident. No accused was arrested in the case, it said.
